If you are using a mail-in absentee ballot, you can keep track of it at SCVOTES.GOV.
You can keep track of your application and the ballot. You do this by the following.
Go to SCVOTES.GOV
On list go to Absentee Ballot
Enter
County
First Name
Last Name
Date of Birth
Then Enter
You select which Election, which would be Statewide General Election 11/3, and if you live in Hardeeville Check City of Hardeeville General Election
Submit
When the screen comes up, you will see all your information. Towards the bottom, you will see the processing of your absentee ballot. You will also be able to trace when the ballot was mailed to you and when it was received at the registration office.
If you do not see a request for an absentee ballot call the office listed. If you did not see the ballot go out (They start going out October 5) call the Election Office listed on the page. If you mailed the ballot back to the Election Office and it does not show the office receiving it (It takes about 4-5 days from date of mailing), again call the office.
